This internship is thoughtfully structured to offer a well-rounded blend of PADI dive training, coral conservation, marine ecology, and focused studies on key megafauna species, ensuring a rich and immersive learning experience. The program runs for 4, 5, 6, or 8 weeks and includes PADI training from Open Water through Rescue. If you already hold a diving certification, you are still welcome to join the program.

The Divemaster programme at Legend was easily one of the best decisions that I have ever made. If you are looking for a DM internship/programme, this is the place. The programme is very organised, and tailored to you, your wants, and your needs. They really teach you through experience and you get to dive (while shadowing some brilliant instructors) every day. If you need a day off (ears acting up, feeling less than 100%, or simply need some rest…) no questions asked. They are here for YOU and you get exactly what you want out of your experience. I was in contact with Myra before arrival and both her and Julio were my main mentors through the programme (organising paperwork and timelines), and she deserves lots of kudos! Really, I could also mention and praise every single one of the instructors as well. I got to shadow and observe ALL of them teach courses, guide fun dives, and handle extremely stressful situations (something inevitable with such a sport). In addition to how great the programme itself is, the diving around Lembongan is superb, the biodiversity is incredible, and I have had more Manta Ray encounters than I can count. The conservation courses (taught by their Marine Biologist, Aline) were something I also took part in, and I can say that the knowledge has added a whole new depth and perspective to diving (the coral restoration was so much fun). Life outside of diving is also a huge part of this experience. Dinners, volleyball, sunsets, coconuts, and forever friends! I couldn’t have asked for anything more. A big fat thank you to the Legend Family! You have made an imprint on my heart!
